Sheila
I have been a student of Tina’s for several years now and have loved
working with her. Tina’s teaching style combines her years of training in
Ttouch and Feldenkrais with compassion and respect for both the horse and
the rider. Tina’s training in Ttouch and Feldenkrais allows her to work on
the human and equine body. Her combination of methods can release body
tension in humans and equines and creating a more harmonious partnership.
She treats both the horse and the rider as individuals with different
learning styles and temperaments. She has such a varied skill set for
teaching that she is able (and willing) to adapt her teaching style to
facilitate learning for both her human and equine students thereby
providing a positive, supportive, and fun environment in which to learn.
So if you are a beginner wanting to start your journey with horses or a
more experience rider that wants to improve themselves or resolve training
issues, Tina will make your experience fun, rewarding, and successful.
Thanks,
Sheila
Help Brewster Fight Canine Cancer
Here is someone I know who is fighting for a passionate cause for pets…Sandy Hall owned Gibson, Guiness World Record Tallest Great Dane in the mid 2000′s.
She also supported my At Risk “TTouch for Teens” classes at Charis Youth Center in Grass Valley, where Gibson was one of my therapy assistance dog volunteers.
He also visited my own mother at her home when she was struggling with a compression fracture in her low back area. She missed having animals, so he came and gave her great joy for Christmas!
Gibson was a star, and featured on TV on Oprah, Jay Leno, David Letterman and more…Sadly, he died of a fast moving bone cancer a few years ago…now his nephew, Brewster, is taking on the path of bringing awareness of this cancer issue with animals. Enjoy the video on this link to learn the story, and enjoy the photos of Gibson himself and the joy he brought to me and mine.
